Walking in the Cold

So, it is about 36 degrees out and windy with snow flurries.  Let's rewind for a second - in Florida where I'm from it's about 80 degrees and super humid.  To say it's a difference is an understatement.

It's too cold here and too hot back home.

The best part of it all is walking fast to class because it is so cold, and then entering the building and just having a huge wave of sweat start pooling on your lower back, at the top of your forehead and best of all, under your pits.  Now as if that isn't annoying enough, once I start to cool down I become cold because the sweat on my back is getting cold and making me cold all over again.  It's a mess.

So then you think well how the hell am I supposed to dress?  With a lot or a little.  I sit in a class and sweat the first 15 minutes or I can freeze for my 15 minute walk to class?

And this is going everywhere, walking to my dorm, going to lunch, meeting up with friends, going to study in the library; PREPARE for a sweat puddle.

No wonder so many people wondered why I came here…it's just as bipolar as Florida weather.

Time to freeze,
luckylabrador
